Social, optical, culinary, but mainly musical delights were enjoyed by
a group of 44 participants during the weekend of the 15th/16th
September 2006 supported by the pictorial backdrop the quaint city of
Bayreuth provided.
As
a transfer from the 21th into the 18th century a Soirée de
Danse in the "Princess Mansion" served, followed by a rural promenade
through the Eremitage. The indisputable climax however was the visit of
the Margraval Opera House, where the group had the honour of viewing
the opera "Giove in Argo" by G.F. Händel.
